Description:
Early 1950s. Image shows a delivery wagon belonging to the Leeds city centre wine & spirit merchants, Gale Lister & Co. Ltd as it is about to make a delivery to the Cow and Calf Hotel in Ilkley. The famous Cow & Calf rocks can be seen in the background. The driver is Ernest Young, an employee of the firm. Gale Lister & Co. Ltd. were situated at number 2 The Calls.
