Description:
1969. This image by Eric Jaquier shows children playing in the Rosebank Road area of Burley. The young boy in the foreground is brandishing a home-made wooden sword. An outside toilet block is seen nearest the camera then terraced houses numbered 88 to 94.

This looks like Rosebank Row ,and run parallel to belle vue rd.The bend at the end aggrees with an old map of the area

I lived at 90 Rosebank Road from 1945 to 1954 when I was 9 years old. We then moved to Manchester. At the far end of the block behind the boy was our toilet and bin area. Happy day as I remember them.
