Description:
2012. Image shows stone built premises forming part of the Royal Hotel in Station Road, Morley Bottoms. For 1970s views of the property see Leodis images 2006118_160381, 2005127_160084 and 2007119_162728, when at that time this building was occupied by the butcher, William Crosby. We would be particularly interested to know the origins of the lettering on the lintels above the window and door which read; "The Devonshire Pub" followed by a break and then "Co Ltd." If you can throw any light on this then we would welcome your comments. Image supplied by Graham Schofield.
