Description:
c1970-72. View looking from Merrion Street onto the junction with Woodhouse Lane and Albion Street showing the construction site of Dudley House, to be a 16-storey office block, completed in 1972. It would be redeveloped in 2001 as mixed use development K2 including residential apartments. In the background are (from left) the United Institute for the Blind and Deaf and Dumb, a warehouse, the Town Hall Tower, St. Anne's Cathedral and on the far right, Thoresby High School for Girls on Great George Street.
