Kirkstall Abbey, from the south-west
c late 1960s. View of Kirkstall Abbey from the south-west, taken from inside the cloister. The view looks across a neatly cut lawn towards the church with the nave on the left and the south transept around the corner to the right. The ruins of the tower are seen above. Moving further right the smaller door leads to what was the library while the entrance to the chapter house is at the far edge.
