St. John
1988 View from Albion Street showing two shopping centres, the St. John's Centre, opened in 1985, on the right and the Merrion Centre, dating from 1964, on the left. On the outside of St. John's Centre are the National and Provincial Building Society, just visible on the right, and Macdonalds, after the entrance. Merrion Street runs between the two shopping centres, while Albion Street becomes Woodhouse Lane after the junction.

User Comments:

That looks like a 'Yorkshire Rider ' mini -bus, what a farce they were, luckily they did not last more than 2 or 3 years!
