Cookridge Street, looking north

Cookridge Street, looking north
Description:
1988 View looking north at the top end of Cookridge Street. On the right is the edge of the Civic Theatre building, also occupied at the time by Leeds College of Music but since redeveloped as Leeds City Museum. After the junction with Vernon Street are buildings of Kitson College of Technology, including the white skyscraper, which is now (2015) part of Leeds City College. Properties on the left include Brodrick's Buildings, one of the lesser known works in Leeds of Cuthbert Brodrick, seen just before the junction with Portland Gate.
