July 2005. View shows the second of two circular plaques bearing the names of old St. Anne's Boys who lost their lives serving their country during the First World War. The plaques are located on the floor of a room in the Catholic Archives at Hinsley Hall off Headingley Lane. Names included are Killeen, Kent, Kenny, Keenan, Killion, Keene, Lee (3), Lennahan (2), Leary, McDermott, McIntyre, McGuire, Molloy, Mongan, Mitchell, Morgan, Mervin, Morris, Newton, O'Neill, Oakes, O'Connor, O'Brien, Owen, Pugh, Price, Roddy, Riley, Roberts, Strangeway, Sandford, Scott, Tobin, Thompson, Townend, Timlin, Vasey, Valette, Viney, Whiteley, White, Winn, Welsh, Whittaker, Whelan and Wilson.
