An ice cream van is pitched in the snow at Roundhay Park, advertising ‘Gourmet fresh coffee’, which would probably be more popular than ice-cream in the freezing weather. The van is parked on the site of the cricket pitch. Children and adults can be seen with sledges on the left, at the foot of Hill 60. Sledging down the Hill has been a popular recreation for children using the park for generations.
