Kirkstall New Station
1900s The photo shows the original train station, called Kirkstall New Station. Kirkstall Abbey is visible in the background with Morris Wood behind it. Roofs of buildings between the station and Kirkstall Abbey are also visible.. The station was on the Midland Railway line. Kirkstall Forge station was built in 2016 and is a little further up the line heading out of Leeds.
