Can You Help? - Whingate Road area
Description:
Undated. Photograph shows two small boys, Martin Bridge aged about 3 and Robert Bridge (who supplied the image) aged about 2, possibly taken on the corner of Whingate Road and Albany Street, but it may have been one of the other streets in that area. Can anyone confirm this?

Comment:
Why not ask the photo donor to give you his current age? This would date the photo to the nearest year if he was 2 in the photo. The horizontal white stripes on the telegraph pole were painted on after 1939 to prevent people colliding wirh the post during the blackout. There are lafge scale street maps which show the exact location of things like telegraph poles . This could help identify the street.
