Undated. Image shows a large group of men pictured outside the Woodman Inn on Water Street, at the junction of Water Street, Sweet Street, and Woodman Lane. Some of the men are seated in a charabanc, the front wheel of which can be seen at the bottom of the picture. The driver can be seen dressed in white. To the far right, the shop on Woodman Street, behind the inn, is selling baby linen and corsets. By the early 1950s the streets had been demolished, and the Ferro Concrete Works built on the site.
