Unicorn Hotel, Three Road Ends
Description:
c1900s. View shows the Unicorn Hotel at Three Road Ends, Adwalton, with people gathered on the steps outside. The landlord at the time was Samuel Cowling, who may be the man standing at the top of the steps between two women. Below the steps the words "Good Accommodation for Cyclists" are written. The pub is serving Bentley's Yorkshire Ales, with dinners available from 12 to 2. It was demolished sometime before 1960. Photograph from the David Atkinson Archive.
