Description: 31st March 2017.
View shows Whitelocks public house situated in Turk's Head Yard off Briggate. It still shows signs of its origins, with the words "Turk's Head Luncheon Bar" seen on the nearest window. Above the window is the date 1715, the date at which it was originally established under the name Turk's Head. It became Whitelocks in the 1880s when the Whitelock family took it over and rebuilt it.
