Undated. View shows the Liberal Club building on Wood Lane, looking south-east. The building is situated just to the north of the town, opposite the Wood Lane housing estate, and was originally built as housing for workers on the nearby East & West Yorkshire Union Railway. It was later extended to form the Liberal Club, and from the 1950s was in use as the Parish Church Hall. The railway line closed on 3rd October 1966.
