1926. View shows Albert Ward, and daughter Ethel, aged about 16, on the steps of his grocers and general merchants shop, at the junction of Commercial Street and Marsh Street. Advertisements can be seen for tea, mustard, polish, and tobacco and various items of hardware are hung outside. The building was demolished after the Second World War as part of the widening of the entrance to Marsh Street.
