c1900s. View of Alma Street, Woodlesford, looking north west. The group of houses seen here were probably originally built to house workers at Oddy's paper mill, the chimney of which can be seen in the background. The mill was later used by Seanors for production of matches, firelighters and fireworks. On the right can be seen the entrance to Alma Yard, and the wall on the left forms the boundary of land belonging to Elm House. Beyond the wall, Airedale Villas are just visible.
