Description: 1954. View shows part of an old timber framed farmhouse, at numbers 9-13 Farrer Lane, Oulton. The building is thought to date from the sixteenth century or earlier, with the timber frame being cased in sandstone and handmade brick. It is one of the two earliest surviving buildings in Oulton, the other being the Nookin on Leeds Road.
