Holywell Lane
Description:
5th January 1946. Wooden building, premises of J.V.Davies and Co.Engineer. Building is raised on brick pillars and has a felt roof, stove pipe chimneys and a flag pole. Mature trees behind building. The building was originally a Scout Hut, built in 1930.

I WAS ONE OF THE LADS WHO HELPED TO BUILD THAT WOODEN BUILDING IN 1930 WITH QUITE A FEW MORE LADS AND MR JIM FREEMAN WAS IN CHARGE THE LADS NAMES I CAN REMEMBER WAS J PARKER H GLEN R YOUNGR JOHNSON E JOHNSON B WILIAMSON A FREEMAN DID ALL THE ELECTRICS AND ALSO AFEW MORE I HAVE NOT MENTIONED SORRY TO SAY THE GOOD OLD DAYS THEN WHEN WE HELPED ONE ANOTHER CHEERS TO ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED
