In the very early 60's I worked for the GPO at 36 Park Row and many a lunchtime, to relieve the boredom was spent in Cowling's wine lodge, which vied with Whitelock's for the quality of it's food, sandwiches, etc, Very few of my Leeds' pals can remember Cowling's, so I'm glad to have found it here. Thanks.
