21st September 1946.The south west side of Kirkstall Road, just south of the North Eastern Railway Viaduct. View shows R. Scholefield engineer and ironfounder. Further along is Keelings (Leeds) Ltd., motor engineers. Cars, lorries, vans and a horse-drawn carriage are parked around. An advertisement for Huntley and Palmer biscuits can be seen. An empty gas holder is behind the viaduct.
