20th October 1949. View looking north west from Colton Road showing St. Mary's Church. Arched stained glass windows are along the inside of the church. The graveyard in the foreground has various bushes and shrubs.

I married George Somers here on the 1st October 1949. It was a gloriously sunny day and very warm. The photographs were taken to the side of the church door on a grassed area. It was a very happy day. It gives me such pleasure to see the church as it was on that day
