My Dad's parents were one of the first couples to be married t St Martin's in the late nineteenth century. May Dad married my mother here in 1937, I was baptised here and married in 1960, three of our children were baptised here, three were in the choir and my husband a server, I was a member of the Mothers' Union and we were both on the PCC. We still live in St MArtin's View, with the church at the bottom of the street. This view isn't the best but it's a difficult church to photograph because the road is so narrow.
