1930. An aerial view of Sheepscar, with North Street in the foreground, and Roundhay Road in the top centre. In the top left can be seen the Victoria Pub, with its advertising hoarding for Tetley's Ales. Next to it is the junction with Sheepscar Street South (left) and Manor Street (right). In the centre of the photo is Appleyard of Leeds Ltd. petrol station and garage. In the mid-right of the photo is a factory with a tall chimney. Terraced rows of houses are scattered around the rest of the picture.
