13th May 1950. The backside of the old stables on the south east side of Albert Grove. Brick built with a slate roof, this stable block is in a derelict condition, with part of a wall fallen down. There are two galvanised water barrels and an old tin bath standing within a brick enclosure. There is a child's dress hanging on the clothes line with a sack barrow just beneath. To the left is an industrial building and to the right are some dwelling houses, all made of brick with slate roofs.
