Description:
2nd April 1936. A large stone built house with a slate roof sits behind a wall amidst a grove of mature trees which have been heavily pollarded. The road has two sets of tram lines. There is a gas streetlamp and some iron poles to carry the electric cables to power the trams. A G.P.O. post box is set into the wall.
