Tuesday, 17th February, 1835. This evening will be for the Benefit of Mr. Brierley ('...alias, Jacob Twig'). The entertainment at Wild's Royal Pavillion tonight will commence with '...the much admired and interesting domestic play' entitled, 'The Military Execution' (or, 'The Fatal Keepsake'). At the end of this piece, Mr. Wallett will appear as the 'German Nondescript' and in that character will display many surprising feats. Miss Wild will then perform a 'favourite dance' and Mr. Wallett will sing a 'comic song'. The whole evening concludes with a performance of the '...grand Eastern drama' called, 'Ali Baba' (or, 'The Forty Thieves'). The performances will commence at 7.30pm precisely.
