Saturday, 20th December, 1862. This Playbill announces that for one night only at Victoria Hall, will be 'The Great Original Chinese Entertainment'. This Act had previously been performed before Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family. Amongst the Acts/Artistes are: '...the celebrated Chinese Jugglers, Arre Hee, Samung and Ching Fong'; Signor Zamezoue and Family with Acts including, magic balls, flying knives and handkerchiefs that turn into pigeons. There will also be an 'Impalement Extrodinary' in which Arr Hee and Samung will impale the human body to a board with huge knives. The performances will commence at 7.30pm.
