Monday, 24th November, 1913. The main attraction at the Hippodrome this week, will be a production of, 'And Very Nice Too' composed, invented and produced by Austen Hurgon. Other Acts/Artistes that appear on the Playbill include: Walker and Lake, '...popular patter purveyors'; Storm Sisters, '...vocalists and extraordinary dancers'; Alice Craven, '...the popular Lancashire Comedienne'; Harvey Boys, '...the original patter comedians' and finally, Frank Elliston and Co. '...in a whirlwind of laughter entitled, 'Three and a Fool'. Also, 'Ckeckmated' and 'The drummer's Umbrella' will be shown on the Bioscope. There will be two performances every evening, commencing at 6.50pm and at 9.00pm, although on Mondays, Saturdays and during the Holidays, the early performance will start at 6.40pm. There will also be a matinee performance on Wednesday at 2.30pm.
