Colour image1974. Image shows a military band marching east along The Headrow, having just turned the corner from Oxford Place. They are taking part in the Lord Mayor's Parade of 1974, the first of what was to become an annual event until the late 1980s. On the far left is the junction with Park Square East. In the centre is the Town Hall Tavern, a Tetley public house, followed by Park Lane House.
