They are situated close to the roundabout on the ring road at the junction with Barwick Road. These cottages were owned at the time of the photograph by Messrs Mawson & Walton.

Black & White image11th March 1964 Rear view of numbers 1 to 7, The Nookin is situated close to the roundabout at the junction of Barwick Road with the Ring Road. There are no windows at the rear and the entrance has been bricked up. Old stonework is visible along with old brick work. At the time of the image the cottages were in the ownership of Mawson and Walton.

Stone, with slate roof. Double upper window, single window ground floor. Both with stone lintels and sill. wooden front door with glass overlight, opens to pavement, Electric light standard on right.
