This was formerly the Woolworth store which when closed in 1987 was bought by Schofields as a temporary location during the rebuilding of the new Headrow Centre. In 1989 it changed to Rackhams, when Schofields moved into the new Headrow Shopping Centre. The name changed again to House of Fraser in October 1996.
