Black & White image26th June 1963, To the left is Woodhouse Street, on the left edge numbers 83/85 were the business of John Cole and Sons, removals and haulage. The company used furniture vans painted a plain bright red. The house on the corner was 52 Woodhouse Street and has a large poster advertising 'Skippers' sardines. Royston Place is on the right. This is the odd numbered side, there were no even numbers as the opposite side was occupied by Nether Green Chapel.

Black & White image7th June 1963, Nether Green Court is on the left, number 68 Woodhouse Street can be seen from the side. The upper floor has a loading bay with hoist to lift goods. It was an upholsterers business run by J. Johnson. To the right the entrance to a small factory area with a sign for James Dolman and Co Ltd, producing gaskets, packings and jointings. This was Nether Works, Dolman also had shop premises at 66. On the right at 64 is Hall's Cafe.

Woodhouse Street, nos. 70, 72 Nether Green Court (Woodhouse)
Black & White image7th June 1963, To the left is number 72 Woodhouse Street, Harry Gath Fishmonger. Number 70 is a double fronted shop used by several businesses including Norman Cline Builders Ltd, Gledhow Trading Co Ltd and Lion Gift Stamp Co. On the right is Nether Green Court, the edge of number 68 can just be seen, J. Johnson upholsterer's shop.
