Black & White imageUndated. This view shows cattle at Allerton Grange Farm off Lidgett Lane. The Pollard family would have been the farmers at the time. The farm has since been demolished and is now the site of houses, roughly where Larkhill Green and Larkhill Road are situated.

Black & White imageUndated. View shows Allerton Grange Farm, situated off Lidgett Lane, now demolished. The Pollard family were in residence when this photo was taken. It had been farmed from the 12th century, when the monks of Kirkstall Abbey used the land. On the opposite side of Lidgett Lane was Moor Allerton Hall, the home of Lt. Col Lambert, then R.B. Hopkins and later used as an annexe to Talbot County Primary School.
