29th March 1950. Picture shows the close up view of the Norman doorway in Adel Church. Carvings of animals and people can be seen above the doorway. The actual door is solid and has iron straps across it. Grave visible.

14th August 1944. This large whitewashed brick house is obscured by folliage of the sycamore trees at the front. You can see the double bay windows at the front and a window at the side with decorative shutters. Various shrubs and bushes are growing along the grass verge and under the trees.

14th August 1944. This large detached house is almost totally obscured by the luxuriant folliage of the mature sycamore trees which front it. The garden is large and a lawn surrounded by lupins is on rhe right of the house. Under the trees at front are various bushes and small shrubs. In the road can be seen the shadow of a telegraph pole.

12th March 1953. Looking south along the west side of the lane are a row of detached and semi-detached houses. They are each individually styled and have various finishes. The low stone walls and wooden gates however are all the same style. Along the lane there are several lamp posts and telegraph poles, two parked cars and a van in the distance. The left side shows a stone wall, hedge and some trees. The tree in the foreground has been trimmed.
