Browns yard is enclosed half way by low brick wall. A man leans on wall. On the street a group of women and children gather. To right on corner is W. Wild ironmongers.

Black & White imageUndated View shows odd-numbered properties on Brown's Yard. Numbers run from the left in ascending order to number 17, just visible on the right edge. Many of the houses have wooden shutters on the ground floor windows. These houses backed onto St Luke's Street.
