Black & White image12th October 1950. View looking south from Carlton Street junction at Camp Road. Several rows of terraced houses, some with windows boarded up. One house has been demolished. An advertising hoarding for 'Heinz Baked Beans' appears on the side of one of the houses. There are also several children playing on the pavements. There is a public house by Primrose Street called the 'Royal George'.
