An interior view of the Church of the Holy Spirit. It stands in Tempest Road at the junction with Maud Avenue. It was a hundred years old in 2003 and is enjoying a new role as one of the founder members of 'Faith Together', a collaboration between Christians and Muslims.

View looking north along Lodge Lane, from the junction with Back Stratford Terrace. The building on the left is the Church of the Holy Spirit. The boarded-up shop after this is on the corner of Lodge Lane and Stratford Street, and in its heyday it was a pork butchers owned by the Leah family. It has since been demolished.
