St Saviour's Church, from junction of Easy Road and Dial Street (Richmond Hill) (3 comments)
Colour imageUndated, (c.1969-1977) St Saviour's Church is visible in the centre of this view, which looks from the junction of Easy Road and Dial Street. On the far right, the cream coloured building is the Yew Tree Inn, while the white coloured gable end to the left of centre is another pub, the Spring Close. Both of these are situated on Ellerby Lane. The rooftop in the background between them belongs to The Old Bank, which was formerly the East Ward Liberal Club. The flat-roofed building on the left partially blocked by a large brick building is the premises of the Bellow Machine Company. Photograph courtesy of Stephen Howden.
