Black & White image29th December 1958 Image shows number 2 Dow Street, the Craven Gate Hotel, a Tetley's beer house. The Tetley brewery's huntsman logo hanging outside the hotel was commissioned in the 1920s and decomissioned in 2000 due to anti-hunting feeling amoung the public. The first window on the right hand side is marked in stained glass as the smoke room. The proprieter is a J. Cavalli.

Black & White image29th December 1958 Image shows the side of the Craven Gate Hotel, a Tetley's beerhouse. The Tetley brewery's huntsman logo hanging outside on the right was commissioned in the 1920s and decommisioned in 2000 due to anti-huting feelings amoung the general public. On the left of the hotel a van is marked J. Cavalli, this is the same person who was proprietor of the pub. In the distance is the corporation yard chimney.

Moor Crescent Road is at the left edge. At the end of the row on the right there is the junction with Dow Street and a glimpse of the Craven Gate Public House.

These five back-to-back terraces are separated between nos. 2 and 4 by a yard housing shared toilets and between nos. 6 and 8 by a ginnel leading to shared toilets. At the far right is Moor Crescent Road.
