Green Lodge Farm no. 46 Main Street, Scholes, View of an Old Barn (Scholes)
Colour image2000. This view is taken from the main street in Scholes village and shows a very old barn belonging to Green Lodge Farm, 46 Main Street. Stones would have been gathered from the fields to construct the barn, evidenced from the differences in tone and sizes of stone. The gateway on he left gives access to Green Lodge Farm, also known as Cullen's Farm.

Scholes Methodist Church, Main Street, Scholes (Scholes)
Colour image2000. View of the frontage of Scholes Methodist Church, Main Street, built in 1875 on land given by Thomas Crosland of Scholes Park Farm. Previously, the early Methodists had met for many years in a granary at Green Lodge Farm, now known as Cullen's Farm. The building of this chapel was instigated by Edward Gray of Morwick Hall and there is a badger carved into the stonework of the large window, which is part of the crest of the Gray family.
