Black & White image1950s. View shows two trams at the Harehills terminus on Easterly Road. The Fforde Grene public house is off the picture to the left and the Clock Cinema off to the right. A terrace of shops is seen in the background on Roundhay Road including no. 279 Crokatts Ltd., dyers and cleaners, and no. 281 Ainley Ltd., wireless engineers. The trams are Chamberlain no. 81 and Feltham no. 521, both bound for Briggate.

At the end of the parade, by the junction with Harehills Lane (known as Harehills Corner) is the Leeds and Holbeck Building Society at no.291. Across the road at no.293 is the Yorkshire Penny Bank.
