Properties seen number 2 to 18 Christopher Road with 2 being Woodhouse Trade Warehouse at the bottom right. The gable end, bottom left, is the end of a row of back-to-back terraced homes, opening at the other side onto Christopher Road and at the other side onto Quarry Street. At the end of Christopher Road houses in Hartley Grove can be seen, top left. Various streets run at right angles to Christoper Road and the junctions and gable ends of the streets are seen across the centre. From the foreground to the background they are Beulah Mount, Beulah View, Glossop Street, Back Glossop Street, Rider Road, Glossop Mount and Glossop Grove. The roofs in the background, right, belong to back-to-back terraced properties in Beulah Street.
