Ashley Road Methodist Church (Harehills)
Black & White image15th May 1984. View from the fire-damaged interior of Ashley Road Methodist Church. It had become disused as a church and at the time of the fire was occupied by a warehouse. Over the wall is Ashton Mount and the gable end seen belongs to back-to-back terrace housing in Darfield Crescent and Darfield Street.

Ashley Road Methodist Church, after fire damage (Harehills)
Black & White image15th May 1984. Image shows the former Ashley Road Methodist Church after fire damage. At the time of the fire the 1906 building had been used as a warehouse. The church windows give way to a view of Darfield Crescent, a street of red brick back-to-back terraced houses.

Ashley Road Methodist Church, aftermath of fire (Harehills)
Black & White image15th May 1984. Image shows the former Ashley Road Methodist Church in the aftermath of a fire. No longer in use as a church it had become the premises of a furniture warehouse before being severely damaged in the fire. The church was subsequently demolished.

Black & White image15th May 1984. Image shows the former Ashley Road Methodist Church in a state of disrepair after it had been badly damaged in a fire. At this time it had been used as a furniture warehouse. Church members had relocated to another building close by, which was easier to maintain, some time before. The photograph is taken from Ashton Mount and on the right back-to-back terraced houses in Darfield Crescent are visible.

Black & White image15th May 1984. Image taken in Ashley Road showing fire damage to the former Ashley Road Methodist Church which had recently been used as a warehouse. Back-to-back terraced homes in Darfield Street are visible in the background, right. The members of Ashley Road Methodist Church had relocated to a building next door, to the right, at the junction of Ashley Road and Ashton Mount.
