Beyond these, running from left to right across the middle is Ring Road Beeston, with Cottingley Drive leading off up towards the top of the photo. To the right of Cottingley Drive are the tower blocks of Cottingley Heights and Cottingley Towers, reputed to be the tallest flats in Leeds, while to the left is the Cottingley Housing Estate built in the early 1970s.
