Stanks Lane runs from left to right across the top of the area as yet to be developed, with Swarcliffe Drive forming a crescent below and the Little Swarcliffe Plantation (left) and Great Swarcliffe Plantation (right) lying between. Ring Road Cross Gates leads from the roundabout down to the bottom, while Barwick Road leads off to the right. The top half of the picture is mostly covered with fields except for Scholes in the distance, but work has started on Stanks Drive on the right, which will eventually run all the way across to the left hand edge with much development in between.
