 | 2003
Image shows the Dexter Public House in Slaid Hill. The name is derived from a breed of cattle introduced into England from the South Western region of Ireland in 1882. Dexters are the smallest breed of British cattle and are black, red and dun coloured. They were bred in Shadwell at Shadwell Grange Farm by the Tetley family.
