Eccup Smithy (Eccup)
Black & White image22nd June 1951. The Old Smithy in Eccup Lane as seen from Blacksmith Lane. This small single storey building is delapidated and deserted. It has a farmhouse door (top half open)and a pair of full doors at the end of the building. It is stone built with a slate roof.

Tingley Youth and Community Centre, Smith Lane (Tingley)
Colour imageUndated. Image shows the entrance to Tingley Youth and Community Centre, located in Smithy Lane, on the site of the playing fields of Blackgates Primary School. It was built in the 1960s and users include Tingley Brass Band, established in 1979. Band Members meet hear each week for rehearsals. Rascals Playgroup also operates from here.
