The oldest part of the hospital, dating from 1864-68 and designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, is in the centre and towards the right; the wing on the far right was added in the same style by George Corson in 1892. To the left, newer buildings of the infirmary are seen at the top of Thoresby Place and St. George's Road.

St. George's Centre, St. George's Road (Middleton)
Colour image2005. The St.George's Centre in St. George's Road is a new, purpose built One-Stop centre which opened in January 2003. It is a health and social care facility erected in partnership with Leeds City Council. It incorporates the following services; Musculo-skeletal, child and adolescent, anti-natal day care unit, community eye service clinic, minor injuries unit. There is also a brand new library with free internet access.
