In the centre a large group of children and adults construct temporary play apparatus from planks of wood and sheets of corrugated iron. Houses on St. John's Avenue can be seen in the background to the left with premises of Harp Mill Paint and Varnish Co. Ltd. in the centre at No. 65 Woodsley Road.
